A Bar or Bat Mitzvah is a special coming of age event. A time for each teen to create an enthusiastic attachment to Judaism. A time of rejoicing when a Jewish teen enters the world of mitzvot or commandments. It means that now each Jewish teen is subject to the laws of Judaism and learning to fulfill them.
Rabbi Ellen Zuskin is here to guide your teen, as well as the entire family through this coming of age experience, a Bar or Bat Mitzvah. Rabbi Zuskin understands the ups and downs of this process and she is able to help each teen have a meaningful journey. Rabbi Zuskin has been teaching Jewish teens for over 30 years and understands this tumultuous time. Rabbi Zuskin takes great joy in teaching each teen to read Hebrew, to recite prayers and blessings, chant the Torah reading, to understand the Torah as well as appreciate Judaism’s rich culture and history. Rabbi Zuskin helps provide each teen with the confidence and security they need to excel on the day of their Mitzvah service. There will be plenty of fun, plenty of learning and plenty of food. Your teen will be in good hands with Rabbi Zuskin, she will provide a safe, warm and fun environment as your teen comes of age in the Jewish Religion.
